I bring a strong background in child development, education, and family support to my counseling work. I currently work for the Haysville School District as a parent educator and home visitor, partnering with families of children from birth to age five. In this role, I support caregivers in understanding child development, strengthening parent-child relationships, and promoting healthy growth and learning in the early years.

 

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in Early Childhood Unified Education and hold teaching licensure in both general and special education. I am currently pursuing additional training in play therapy and have completed practicum experiences at the Wichita State University WISE Clinic and the Wichita State University Child Development Center, where I gained experience supporting children and families in therapeutic settings.

My approach is grounded in developmentally appropriate practice and the belief that healing and change happen within the context of strong relationships. I value meeting each client where they are

and tailoring the counseling process to fit their unique needs, strengths, and goals.
